A wide range of partners are committed to preventing extremist and terrorist violence.
These include the intelligence and security services, the police, investigative agencies, the justice chain, municipalities, local professionals and many others. Tackling radicalisation, extremism and terrorism locally is an essential part of this commitment.
Municipalities are responsible for supervising the local approach. This means they are in charge of developing the local approach and its implementation, in cooperation with the necessary partners.
Basically, the local approach consists of three components that are closely related to each other:
