The National Coordinator for Security and Counterterrorism has decided to remain at threat level 5 in the province of Utrecht until at least 22.00 hours. The threat level for the rest of the Netherlands remains at 4. The reason to keep the threat level for the province of Utrecht at 5, is that the suspect is still on the run, and to keep the public alert . There is still no more information about the motive for this shooting, we cannot rule out a terrorist motive.
