Fourth progress report on counterterrorism and Summary Terrorist Threat Assessment Netherlands 5

On 5 December 2005, the House received the third progress report on counterterrorism. Now, nearly six months later, it is time for the fourth progress report. At various times during the intervening period we have informed you about aspects of anti-terrorism policy and topics that have a bearing on the fight against terrorism.

Looking at a combination of factors and balancing the threat against the measures that are in place to combat it, the NCTb has concluded that the level of threat to the Netherlands continues to be substantial. This means that there is a realistic possibility that an attack will take place in the Netherlands.
