Public survey on disinformation

Fake news, disinformation and information manipulation: all these terms have quickly become commonplace in the Netherlands and the world as a whole. This phenomenon falls under the remit of the National Coordinator for Counterterrorism and Security (Nationaal Coördinator Terrorismebestrijding en Veiligheid (NCTV)) because of the effect disinformation can have on our national security. Malicious parties like state actors use it to increase their influence. The impact that incorrect information has is particularly evident in crisis stuations.
