Explosives precursors in this instance are substances that can be used to make explosives. The new EU Regulation on explosives precursors came into force on 1 February 2021. In order to implement the new Regulation, the national legislation was also adapted.
The Regulation was introduced to prevent malicious persons from using these substances unnoticed to make explosives.
