Cyber Security Assessment Netherlands 2023

The Cybersecurity Assessment Netherlands 2023 (CSAN 2023) provides insight into the digital threat, the interests that may be affected by this, digital resilience and finally the digital risks. CSAN 2023 also aims to provide insight into the possible changes to the strategic themes that were elaborated in the CSAN 2022. These themes formed a substantive basis for the Dutch Cybersecurity Strategy 2022-2028. This CSAN in turn forms a substantive basis for the evaluation of the action plan that is derived from this strategy. The emphasis is on national security. Digitisation offers many opportunities, but it also lends itself to all kinds of exploitation, and outages may occur. The CSAN does not focus on the opportunities offered by digitisation. It does, however, focus on disruptions of critical and other processes with a digital component.
