HP Schreinemachers is acting deputy National Coordinator for Security and Counterterrorism (NCTV) and director for National Crisis Management.
In August 2015 he was appointed as director for National Crisis Management at the NCTV. He is responsible for the National Crisis Center, the analysis department and the monitoring and security department.
From 2010-2015 he was counselor for Justice and Home Affairs at the Netherlands embassy in Washington, DC. Previously he was the deputy and acting Director for Migration Policy at the Ministry of Justice. During the period 2001-2005 Schreinemachers fulfilled various management positions at the Immigration- and Naturalisation Service, including Head of the implementation policy department.
Schreinemachers studied Political Sciences (with focus on International Relations) and Law (both Dutch and International Law).
